Calls made to Metropolitan Tenant's Organization's Hotline
Metropolitan Tenant's Organization (MTO) advocates for tenant's rights in Chicago. One service they provide is managing a hotline in which anyone can call, report housing issues, and be pointed to resources or legal aid. This map visualizes the 2,000 calls MTO received between July 2014 and December 2014 by the main purpose of the call. The map initially displays calls regarding issues with heat, but you can toggle between the different categories to observe trends for different issues.
